XUV700 SUV which is considered one of the most awaited SUV is nearing its launch. A few days back the model has been listed on the official website of Mahindra.

Mahindra auto is famous as an SUV maker in the domestic market. Its current lineup of SUV includes the Mahindra XUV500 name which is one of the top-selling SUV models. Soon it is going to be replaced by the soon Launching XUV700.

A few days back company officially announced that after the launch of XUV700. They are discontinuing the production of the XUV500 model. In this article, we are updating you about XUV700 which is now listed on the official webpage.

XUV700 Engine

The XUV700 model will be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. Which is different from the rest of the competition. It’s the same engine that is being offered with New Mahindra Thar but with better outputs. Currently, Thar offers a 2.2-litre diesel engine and a 2.2-litre turbo petrol engine. That generates and power and output of 150PS/320Nm and 130PS/300Nm.

Once after launch, The XUV700 engine will offer a performance of 190Ps. Which is better than Thar. Also, the SUV will come with both two and four-wheel drive options.

Design and features

At the rear, uniquely designed LED taillights are placed horizontally, The rear bumper design s different from the XUV500 model. There are vertical lines on the side profiles of the SUV along with flush type door handles also, The SUV is coming with Dual-tone machine cut alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, you get a dual-screen display at the dashboard. The one screen only acts like a fully digital instrument cluster and the other screen is for the infotainment system. There are also multiple drive modes placed at the centre console making the overall cabin sporty.

XUV700 Features

In view of increased competition, the SUV is expected to come with segment fist ADAS (Advanced driver assistance system), A full panoramic sunroof, Second and third-row USB charging with AC vents, Wireless phone charging and many other features.

In terms of Seating arrangement. XUV700 is offering both 7 and 6 seat arrangements. The Six Seater model is offering all captain seats whereas the Seven seater model is offering bench middle row seats.

XUV700 Expected price and Launch time

Given these points, The SUV is expected to launch at a price of (15 Lacs – 22 Lacs ex-showroom Delhi NCR) and the SUV will launch around the Second half of 2021.

In conclusion, XUV700 is going to be a value for money model offering many features also, in the market, it is going to compete with Hyundai Alcazar, TATA Harrier, TATA Saffari and MG Hector plus models.
