Soon after the launch, the New Creta is counted among the top-selling Midsize SUV in its segment. Now HMIL is planning to bring new updates into the SUV in order to keep it competitive with the nearest rival KIA Seltos.
Updates in New Creta SX and SX (O)
Both the trims are set to receive series of connectivity updates. The company is introducing over the air (OTA) Map updates for both variants including a new smart key with a remote push-button start function. The dashboard is also getting a soft paint finish. In addition, new voice commands such as power window control, points-of-interest search, retrieving contact details are also offered.
What’s new in New Creta Mid Variant
The EX and S trim is getting wireless android auto and apple car play function. Earlier it was supported through a cabled connection.
Features cut in Base trim
The biggest feature cut is happening in the Base variant E trim. Now it will not offer an electrically adjustable ORVM Mirror. The ORVM based turn indicator is shifted to front fenders. Also, it is sacrificing with the luggage lamp and passenger seatback pocket.
Despite all the following feature cuts It will be interesting to see if Hyundai passes the benefits directly to buyers. Or they make price increase like other trims.

Just like the existing Creta Model in the same way there will be no change in the engine option. New Creta will continue to offer 1.5-Liter Petrol, 1.4-Liter Turbo Petrol and a 1.5 Liter turbo diesel engine to its customers.
