MG Hector Vs Mahindra XUV 700 :Safety Features
Mahindra has certainly spent its time developing the Mahindra XUV700, and it has a significant advantage over the MG Hector in this regard, thanks to the presence of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Adaptive cruise control, smart pilot aids, front collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and traffic sign recognition is among the ADAS capabilities.
Both of these SUVs have all of the latest safety features, including airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, TC, TPMS, and more, but the Mahindra XUV700 has a minor advantage.

Three engine options are available for the MG Hector. The 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine produces 167.75 horsepower at 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. The engine is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission. At 5,000 rpm, the 1.5-litre petrol engine generates 141.04 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque at 1,600 rpm. Unlike the diesel engine, it has a 6-speed manual, 6-speed DCT, or CVT transmission.
Finally, the MG Hector features a hybrid powertrain. This powerplant has the same setup as the previous powertrain, but the starter motor has been replaced by a belt-type starter generator to provide start/stop functionality, and the only gearbox option is a 6-speed manual transmission.
The Mahindra XUV700, on the other hand, offers a choice of one petrol engine and two diesel engines, as well as a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
A 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 197 horsepower powers the petrol engine. Both diesel engines are 2.2-liter turbocharged, but the more powerful version produces 182 horsepower, while the less powerful variant produces a decent 153 horsepower.
