Honda City Rivals: It will continue to take on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, Toyota Yaris, Volkswagen Vento, and the Skoda Rapid.
Honda City Features: the new Honda City 2020 will get a sunroof, semi-digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Honda will also offer segment-first features in the form of Honda Lane-Watch and connected car tech with Alexa remote support.
Earlier, the City was spotted testing undisguised in India for the first time. It looks largely similar to the international-spec model with sleek split LED tail lamps, a revised tailgate and new bumpers. The City also gets India-specific changes like the new alloy wheel design.

The stylish chrome bar meets the jewel eye LED headlamps and the three-part bumper is neatly contoured. Honda also have made sure to make rear profile more sportier, now you shall ger BMW inspired LED tail lights, all rear reflectors are placed just below the LED tail lights, The 2020 Honda City is bigger in size and is now over 100 mm longer, while the width has increased by 53 mm. Although height is now lowered by 28 mm that makes it sleeker looking sedan.
Like outside from inside to the new honda city is coming with entire new updates and layout, is coming equipped with dashboard wrapped in soft-touch upholstery. The overall design is neat and houses vertical-style air vents and a larger touchscreen infotainment system in the center. The climate control switches are positioned just below that, while the switches have been replaced with touch-sensitive controls. The powertrain that we’re expecting in the India-spec model is actually a hybrid powertrain. The 1.5-litre i-Vtec petrol engine with i-MMD mild-hybrid system that delivers fuel economy of 23.8 kmpl.

Full LED Headlamps: The new-gen Honda City will feature full-LED headlamps along with 9 LED array in-line shells, integrated with LED DRLs and L-shaped LED turn indicators.
One-touch Electric Sunroof: A sunroof is still not a benchmark in the segment, but Honda was the first to introduce the feature in the outgoing previous-gen City. The 2020 City will also be offered with a one-touch electric sunroof.
Lane Watch Camera: The Honda City will borrow Civic’s Lane Watch Camera which display what’s approaching from behind you that might not have been visible otherwise. The Lane Watch system makes use of the cameras mounted on both the ORVMs, and the infotainment screen acts as the display.
7-inch Full Colour TFT MID with G-Force Meter: The Honda City comes equipped with a 7-inch full colour TFT instrument cluster, with a first in class G-force meter, that calculates the magnitude as well as the direction of the acceleration of the car, or when you’re cornering or braking.
Honda Connect with Alexa Remote Support: The 2020 City will feature Honda’s connected car-tech called ‘Honda Connect’ with a Telematics Control Unit. What more, the sedan will go on to become India’s first car that will be offered with Amazon’s Alexa remote compatibility.
