Hyundai Venue Vs Maruti Vitara Brezza : Design
Hyundai Venue’s design has a blocky, angular concept that extends not just to the Venue’s form but also to elements like the front daytime running lights and taillight clusters. The use of darkened A-pillars to create a ‘floating roof’ impression is a clever architectural trick. Projector automated headlights, a front grille, 15-inch alloy wheels standard on the SE, chrome grille, and roof side rails. LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, and a contrasting white roof are all standard on the Denim. A power sunroof is available as an option exclusively on the SEL.
The upgrades in the front are clear when you see the redesigned Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza approaching. The front end has a luxurious vibe thanks to the revised chrome grille and headlamp cluster. The Brezza’s LED DRLs, which also act as turn indicators, are generally found on high-end vehicles and look spectacular. The new bumper also provides the SUV-like front end with a more solid look.
When you look to the side, the only significant difference is the new 16-inch alloy wheels with an eye-catching design. The new LED tail lamp, which looks rich and elegant by the way, is also a clearly noticeable upgrade in the back.

The Smartstream four-cylinder engine produces 121 horsepower and 113 pound-feet of torque. While a manual transmission was formerly available, Hyundai has withdrawn it, leaving only a continuously variable transmission (CVT) as an option. The IVT also simulates the shifts of traditional automatic transmission. Passing on the highway, on the other hand, will take a lot of patience and a heavy right foot. So, while cross-country road trips can be a hassle, the Venue thrives in the limitations of tight city streets.
Let’s get to the most significant modification in the Vitara Brezza facelift, which is the engine. The original 1.3 L diesel engine has been phased out, and the new one is powered by a 1.5 L BS6 compliant K-Series engine. The engine produces 103 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. A five-speed manual transmission is available, as well as the outdated four-speed automatic torque converter unit. The engine has a lot of bottom-end oomph, so even at low speeds under 2,000 rpm, there isn’t any lag. Once you get above 2,500 rpm, the acceleration is quick and there’s plenty of power for a fun drive.

Despite its small size, Hyundai has managed to construct an interior that can easily fit four six-foot adults, as we discovered in our evaluation of the Venue. The design isn’t very remarkable, but we’d rather have a functional interior that works well than one that is spectacular but confusing. A six-way manually adjustable driver’s seat, a touchscreen interface, and a 60/40 split-folding rear seatback are standard on all models. The best-in-class Demin features cloth/leatherette seats, heated front seats, and push-button ignition, with safety features such as driver attention warning and lane-keeping assist included on all models.
While the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza’s cabin has seen even fewer changes than the exterior. A leather-wrapped steering wheel and a new seat cover pattern are two easily noticeable cosmetic modifications. With Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connection, the Smartplay infotainment system remains seamless and simple to operate. New features include the ability to control the system with your smartphone and remote access to vehicle data such as fuel efficiency. Automatic headlamps and wipers are also notable innovations that add convenience and safety.
Hyundai Venue Vs Maruti Vitara Brezza : Safety Features
Fortunately, Indian car buyers are growing increasingly concerned about safety. In 2018, the Vitara Brezza achieved a four-star crash rating from Global NCAP, indicating that it performed well in this area. The new Brezza should provide similar levels of safety with no changes to the vehicle’s construction. Front twin airbags and ABS with EBD come as standard. Hill Hold Assist is available on the automatic models only.
On the other hand, the Korean manufacturer Hyundai has also done a fair job of equipping even the most basic Venue with the safety technologies expected of any modern vehicle. Tire pressure monitoring, a rearview camera, vehicle stability management, electronic stability control, traction control, and ABS brakes are standard on all models. All outboard seating positions have dual-front, front-side, and curtain airbags, for a total of six airbags. Forward-collision warning, lane-keeping assist, and driver attentiveness alert are examples of driver-support technologies. Blind-spot recognition and rear cross-traffic warning are available on the top two trim levels.
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza facelift costs between Rs 7.34 to Rs 11.40 lakh, which is reasonable but not aggressive. The Vitara Brezza has been updated to be smarter and more luxurious than before, with a few new convenience features to boot.
Whereas, the Hyundai Venue has a starting price of Rs. 6.99 lakh and may go up to Rs. 11.85 lakh. Hyundai Venue is available in 18 different models, with the E being the most affordable and the Hyundai Venue SX Plus Sport DCT costing Rs. 11.85 lakh.
