Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL), today unveiled the name of its upcoming 7 Seater Premium SUV – Hyundai ALCAZAR. Once after launch, the Premium SUV is going to compete with All-New TATA Safari, MG Hector plus and Mahindra XUV500.

Price and Features
The ALCAZAR is expected to be priced at 11.50Lacs for Base trim and 19.00Lacs for the top trim. Officially you can expect the price announcement from Hyundai positively by June 2021. In terms of features The ALCAZAR shall offer, ABS, EBD, Push Button start, Airbags, projector headlamps., Follow me home function, rear AC vents, semi-digital instrument cluster. Touch screen infotainment with android auto and apple car play functions.
For the top model, you can also expect ventilated seats, Panoramic sunroof, front and rear parking sensors, and Hyundai connected tech.
Hyundai ALCAZAR Launch date
While Hyundai Motors India limited yet not confirmed the exact launch date, but have assured that the all-new ALCAZAR will be made in and made for India model. You can expect the launch date any time soon.
Hyundai ALCAZAR Expected Engine
To differentiate between Hyundai Creta and ALCAZAR, You can expect more difference at the front fascia such as a grill. But most of the design elements such as split headlamps, tail lamps and styling shall be carried over.
The 1.5-litre petrol, the 1.5-litre diesel and the 1.4-litre turbo petrol coming in the Hyundai Creta model shall be retained. The 1.5-litre gasoline engine generates 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque and the solo diesel makes 115 PS power and 250 Nm torque in the Creta. The smaller turbocharged petrol develops 140 PS and 242 Nm and the Alcazar will more likely have the same engines but with different tunings.
ALCAZAR Seating options
Once after launch, the ALCAZAR will be offered in SIX and Seven seating options, while the Seven seats ALCAZAR get a bench-type seat in the second row. The SIX seats ALCAZAR shall be offered with all captain seat options. The seats of ALCAZAR are expected to be offered in dual-tone colour options.
Other convenience features in seating include a dedicated armrest with cup holders and the provision for storage and wireless mobile phone charging. The second-row seats also have dedicated ISOFIX mounts and will be offered with a tumbledown function.
