Post auto expo 2-3 times the car has been spied testing in the highly camouflaged avatar, let us take you through all the details

The testing model looks a lot similar to its prototype that was showcased the past. In terms of looks, it has got boxy shape, all-black interior, semi-digital instrument cluster and lot more, the Split headlamps and Humanity grills remind us of Harrier.
Inside the cabin, a floating 7.0-inch infotainment system is placed above the dashboard, the higher model is expected to come with automatic climate control.
Just like Altroz. it’ll be based on ALFA platform, which makes it spacious also the doors will open 90 degrees, the flat floor shall make it easy for 03 occupants at the rear seats to seat comfortably.
Engine and GearBox
The Car is expected to share two of its engines from Altroz. The first – an 86hp, 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol unit – is expected with a five-speed manual and five-speed AMT auto gearbox options. The second will be a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit making about 110hp with a manual gearbox.
Competition: Once after launch it shall compete with Maruti Ignis, Mahindra KUV100 NXT and Ford Freestyle.
Pricing: Following will be Smallest SUV and will be priced in way they it shall compete with petrol only models.
The expected price of TATA HBX would be Rs 4.5-7.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
