Skoda India have confirmed that the face-lifted Superb will be launched in India in May 2020. The premium sedan is expected to be offered with a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre petrol engine, its coming with plenty of features which makes it most competitive in its segment, This Premium sedan will soon become petrol only offering, The Superb face-lift is the first Skoda model to get full-LED Matrix headlights

Skoda premium sedan will be offered with a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre petrol engine. This unit is capable of producing 192PS of power and 320Nm of torque and will come paired to a 7-speed DSG transmission option. Skoda is not launching any diesel variant of this model at least in 2020, currently skoda offers the Superb with two BS4 engines: a 1.8-litre TSI engine (180PS/250Nm) and a 2.0-litre TDI unit (177PS/350Nm) and is offered with either a 6-speed DSG or a 7-speed DSG transmission option

New Skoda Superb Exteriors

Coming equipped with new MQB platform, Superb have increase in length by 80mm. Styling seems to be inspired from Skoda’s Vision C concept.

In terms of changes, the face-lifted Superb shall get:

Interior:

There is Heaps of room for passengers seated in front and back. The quality of materials used has gone up too, and Skoda has made notable change to the design of the cabin. That said, the dashboard receives a new design, it is sleek and a lot has changed what we saw in the second gen model. Dual tone interiors of the model along with piano black finish and chrome accents educe class. Seats are draped in leather upholstery and are well cushioned, with all seats up boot space swells to 625 liters.

New Skoda Superb Accessories & Infotainment

It gets SmartLink infotainment system with Apple’s CarPlay for iOS users and Android Auto system for Android users. There is a 610 watt audio system with 12 speakers and a 6.5 inch large touch-screen.

Safety features aboard are pedestrian protection, multi-collision brake assist, fatigue detection system, hill hold control, anti-lock-braking system, multiple airbags including two in front for driver & co-passenger, side bags at front and rear and curtain airbags.

New Skoda Superb Comfort & Convenience

Inside the cabin, Superb features 3nzone climate control, 12-way power adjustable seats in front with memory function, panoramic sunroof, parking sensors, paddle shifters in automatic variants, perforated & cooled seats for L&K variant among various others.

New Skoda Superb Wheels & Tyres

Multiple spoke and modishly designed alloy rims are shod to massive tyres. Moreover, the grip on road is quite firm thanks to the large sized tyres.
