1. Datsun GO+

The first in the list of best-selling cars, On May 14, 2020, Datsun released the upgraded BS6 GO+ MPV in India. The Datsun GO+ coms, Datsun GO +es in five different versions: D, A, A(O), T, and T+ (O). The Datsun GO+’s new bumper underwent slight alterations with the BS6 upgrade, featuring vertical LED daytime running strips integrated within the blacked-out insert. The grille has been significantly modified, and the overall appearance is much better than before. Subtle tweaks are also made to the rear bumper to keep things interesting. In addition, for the first time, it rides on 14-inch alloy wheels. When combined with the manual transmission, the new BS6-compliant 1.2-liter petrol engine produces 67bhp and 104Nm. When coupled to a CVT, the power increases by 9 bhp to 76 bhp.

The price of the Datsun GO+ ranges from Rs. 4.26 lakh to Rs. 7.00 lakh. The petrol version of the GO+ costs between Rs. 4.26 lakh and Rs. 7.00 lakh.

2. Maruti Suzuki Alto

Next on the list of best-selling cars in India is Maruti Suzuki. It has been on Indian roads for two decades, having first debuted in the year 2000. And, in case you didn’t know, the hatchback has sold over 38 lakh units in India, making it the country’s first entry-level vehicle to be BS6 compliant.

In its petrol variant, the Maruti Suzuki Alto is powered by a 0.8-liter petrol engine that delivers 47bhp and 69Nm of torque. The same motor produces 40bhp and 60Nm of torque when switched to CNG mode. The Maruti Suzuki boasts a fresh and appealing look, despite its simplicity. Alto’s single-slat grille and compact shape give it a sophisticated and appealing appearance.

The Maruti Suzuki Alto ranges from Rs. 3.25 lakh to Rs. 4.94 lakh. The price of the petrol version of the Alto is between 3.25 and 4.33 lakhs, while the price of the CNG variant is between 4.89 and 4.94 lakhs.

3. Maruti Suzuki S-Presso

In India, the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso comes in six models and six color variations. The S-Presso is built on top of the Heartec platform, which is reinforced with an impact-absorbing framework. The firm claimed at the time of its debut that the S-Presso had the best-in-class turning radius of 4.5 meters. In addition, Maruti Suzuki has introduced the S-Presso as a mini-SUV in India.

Under the hood, the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine producing 67bhp/90Nm. This engine can be had with a five-speed manual or a five-speed AGS. The squared headlamps and narrow grille with chrome inserts appear to be inspired by Vitara Brezza’s design. For an SUV-like attitude, the vehicle also has a powerful dual-tone bumper. Rectangular tail lamps and a dual-tone bumper with integrated reflectors can be found on the back part.

The price of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso ranges from 3.85 lakhs to 5.55 lakhs. The pricing of the petrol version of the S-Presso is between 3.85 lakh and 5.20 lakh, while the price of the CNG variant is between 5.23 lakh and 5.55 lakh.

4. Hyundai Santro

Hyundai’s iconic huge cascading grille is featured on the Santro. It also has halogen headlamps with integrated turn signals, as well as fog lamps beneath the headlamps. It has a rear window wiper and washer, as well as a rear defogger and a rear parking camera. For top-spec cars, 14-inch steel wheels are standard, while 13-inch steel wheels are standard on all other models. It’s also available in six different paint colors.

This hatchback’s inside has a beige and black color scheme. 5. Renault Kwid

Fifth on the list of best-selling cars in India is Renault Kwid. In India, the new Renault Kwid has debuted. The car is available in eight different configurations, six different color schemes, and two different powertrains. The exterior and interior of the vehicle are updated, but the engine parameters remain unchanged.

A revised front bumper, split headlight configuration, LED DRLs, new three slat grille, contrast colored ORVMs, C-shaped LED light guides, and an integrated roof spoiler is among the exterior highlights of the Renault Kwid facelift. The interior features an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and voice recognition, as well as a piano black center console, a fully digital LED instrument cluster, and a reverse parking camera with guidance.

A 0.8-liter three-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine are available for the Kwid facelift. A five-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit will be available as options.

The price of Renault Kwid ranges from Rs. 4.24 lakh to Rs. 5.81 lakh. The petrol version of the Kwid costs between 4.24 and 5.81 lakh rupees.
