Hyundai Tucson is the flagship SUV of the country’s second-largest automobile manufacturer. While the new Tucson did set to release on a global scale some time ago. Hyundai continues to sell an older generation of the Tucson in India. However, it appears that the 2022 Hyundai Tucson will not be out of the Indian market for long. A fleet of the all-new Tucson has recently been spotted on Indian roads.
Hyundai Tucson: Exterior
In terms of design, the all-new model is more angular. On the front face, it gets a parametric grille with integrated LED DRLs. The actual headlamp assembly, on the other hand, is inline with the bumper. Sharp lines are visible around the sides, and the wheel arches are into square off as well. The back facet isn’t any different. With a rather aggressive design for the tail lamps, the cohesion remains intact. The rear bumper also features a striking diffuser and integrated fog lamps.
Hyundai Tucson: Interior
The new Tucson interior has a more upscale feel to it. The AC vents are unobtrusive in design. Similarly, the feature set is extensive. It has a 10.25-inch instrument console, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, mood lighting, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated and heated front seats, and other features.
Engine And Other Specifications:
A 187-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front or all-wheel drive will be standard. A turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine will power the hybrid and plug-in hybrid models, producing a combined 227 horsepower in the former and 261 horsepower in the latter; all-wheel drive is standard with the electrified powertrains, and both come with a six-speed automatic transmission.
Launch date, Rivals, and Price
The Hyundai Tucson 2022 is expected to arrive in India in the second half of 2022. It will compete with the Citroen C5 Aircross, Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Tiguan facelift, upcoming Jeep Meridian, and other vehicles. The new Tucson will be available with both petrol and diesel vehicles, as well as manual and automatic transmissions. Prices are expected to start around Rs. 25 lakh.
